Smarter, Safer, Cleaner.


AIRD started from humble beginnings in Adelaide, South Australia, with a thought, "How can cleaning be better and safer?"

Many of the cleaning products currently on the market are cheap and nasty, and often dangerous.  One of the most prominent of these cleaning products is Sodium Hydroxide or Caustic Soda, which was commonly used throughout the Australian wine industry (one of South Australia's largest industries).

And so the journey began between AIRD and the wine industry, with a goal of developing a non-dangerous caustic replacement, which would later become one of our flagship products, Cleanskin®. 

Over the last 25 years, AIRD has been working hand-in-hand with wineries to develop industry specific hygiene solutions.

Our focus of making cleaning better and safer has evolved into an aim to making winery hygiene smarter, safer and cleaner.  This has come about as changing market forces in the wine industry has required a reduction in processes and a reduction in water consumption.

Our product lineup is a response to the challenges that face the modern winery.  Our attitude is uncompromising in quality and effectiveness, and we will continually strive to refine our products to meet the future wine hygiene challenges that await.
